The hidden meaning of the Salvation Army Cadets Uniform's Stand Collar.

Salvation Army Blood & Fire officers should always have a strategy to train those who love the Salvation Army as saviors for the expansion of the kingdom of God by giving them the assurance of salvation and sanctification. Therefore, no matter what department the officers minister in, the soldiers gave me the experience of holiness. We must work hard until we bear our testimony.

Salvation Army cadets are those who focus on and inherit William Booth's vision to become true soul winners. Cadets who have been called to become normal ministers of Christ fell in front of the Holiness Table, dedicated themselves to God, and enrolled in the Salvation Army Officer Training College, participate in various training programs. Education programs, Field Operations, and Spiritual Development.

In particular, since Spiritual Development becomes the basic ministry of the Salvation Army, everyone should be faithful to the truth and make every effort to develop an individual's passionate faith in God. It is not subjective, but a total commitment toward God's purpose by excluding burning love for God and selfish interests. There must be a strong sense of vocation to proclaim the Gospel to those who know how to love people, who do not believe in Jesus Christ, to care for those in need. After being appointed as a Salvation Army officer, you must be prepared for sacrificial caring and suffering in order to find the lost sheep and the unchanging love of sacrificial caring like a good shepherd for the flock. Christlike qualities and perfect sacredness must be clearly manifested in the presence of the purifying Holy Spirit.

The Salvation Army excludes hypocrisy and form but uses symbols. Since 1880, Salvation Army cadets have been using blue stand collars like Salvation Army soldiers. This is because the foundation of the Salvation Army officer is holiness. From the beginning of the Salvation Army, they let others experience holiness as well as themselves.

The Salvation Army consecrates the Mercy Seat for seeker for salvation who wants Initial Salvation and Holiness Table for seeker for holiness who wishes for Full Salvation. The Holiness Table is where most of the people of God dedicate themselves to God and want to walk with the Lord from a consecrated heart to the final salvation. When you come to the Holiness Table, you can kneel down and experience holiness through Continuous Salvation. Ready to be.

A place where people who come to the Holiness Table are invited to make a determination and dedication to live according to the will of God by publicly confessing while witnesses are watching under the Blood & Fire of Flag, which symbolizes the presence of the Holy Trinity God for spiritual needs is.

The Holiness Table reads the voices of “Because I am holy, and you may separate and sanctify your bodies” and “Be holy, because I am holy” (Leviticus 11:44-45, 1 Peter 1:16), you will receive full salvation. It is a place to come out for. It is a place where those who come to the Holiness Table and kneel and want to be cleansed come out, but the preacher himself came to the same place as the laver of brass (Exodus 30:21, John 13:8), where he escaped from spiritual death. It is a place where you can receive the grace of salvation. The reason why I often come to the Holiness Table and kneel down and want to be sanctified is that the eternal command of “hagios(ἅγιος)” to continue to distinguish “hagios(ἅγιος)” as the water of the Word (Ephesians 5:26) is a vengeance. It has to be done while you breathe in the world. “Kadosh(קָדַשׁ), which is sanctified, consecrated, consecrated, but has a vengeance, originated from the codesh(קֹדֶשׁׁ) that is holy and divine.

The Holiness Table is a characteristic of Salvation Army worship in which the preacher invites the congregation to continue continuous salvation to reach final salvation.

First of all, the officer himself used blue as a symbol that he had to train his heart without defect until the day Jesus Christ came again (Proverbs 20:30) and live a life of holiness(Exodus 26:31-33, 36, Numbers 4:6-7, 9, 1 Thessalonians 5:23, Hebrews 12:14, Matt 5:8). After some time, the British are using black epaulets. This means that you will be a soldier who saves the souls of those who scream and scream in the dark sea and thick dark clouds. Black color is sin(Job 6:15-6), sickness(Job 30:30), hunger(La 4:8, 5:10, Rev 6:5-6), death(Jude 1:12). sorrow(Jer. 14:2), judgment(Jer. 14:2, Levi 13:37, Job 3:5), penitence(Gen. 37:34, Isa. 50:3, Rev. 6:12). It has meaning. This symbol marks the faith and mission of the Salvation Army.

One of The Salvation Army Founder William Booth's Amazing Visions...

When William Booth burst in the door of his Hammersmith home late one night in 1865 and exclaimed, “Darling, I have found my destiny!” he’d been walking through the slums of the East End of London. That glimpse of hell on earth constituted Booth’s primary vision; hell was the East End writ large and forever.

Booth was fond of visual imagery, even collecting a series of articles in one volume entitled Visions in 1906. One of these says:

I saw a dark and stormy ocean…

In that ocean, I thought I saw myriads of poor human beings plunging and floating, shouting and shrieking, cursing and struggling and drowning; and as they cursed and screamed they rose and shrieked again, and then some sank to rise no more.

And I saw out of this dark angry ocean, a mighty rock that rose up with its summit towering high above the black clouds that overhung the stormy sea. And all around the base of this great rock, I saw a vast platform. Onto this platform, I saw with delight a number of the poor struggling, drowning wretches continually climbing out of the angry ocean. And I saw that a few of those who were already safe on the platform were helping the poor creatures still in the angry waters to reach the place of safety.…

As I looked on, I saw that the occupants of that platform were quite a mixed company. … But only a very few of them seemed to make it their business to get the people out of the sea. … though all had been rescued at one time or another from the ocean, nearly everyone seemed to have forgotten all about it. Anyway, the memory of its darkness and danger no longer seemed to trouble them… These people did not seem to have any care – that is, any agonizing care – about the poor perishing ones who were struggling and drowning before their eyes…

When I was a cadet, I used a blue stand collar uniform. The blue color symbolizes that because they are sanctified, they are fighters for social holiness(1 Corinthians 15:47-48).

On top of the blue stand collar, the cadets also made and attached cross Blood Red collar bars themselves(Isaiah 1:18). Purple symbolizes kingship, that both position and action belong to the king(Es. 8:15, John 19:2, 19-22). The scarlet color symbolizes the blood of Christ shed for redemption(Hebrews 9:22, Joshua 2:18).

When wearing the Salvation Army uniform with an open collar, blue epaulets are used on the shoulders of the cadet's uniform insignia. Blue symbolizes what is in heaven(1 Corinthians 15:47-48). Use the Blood Red color bar over the blue epaulets. Blood Red color symbolizes the blood of Jesus Christ shed for the cross for redemption(Hebrews 9:22, Joshua 2:18).

Modern cadets attach metal on their epaulets, but as in the words of Ecclesiastes 4:12, the cord of three strands is not quickly broken on the epaulets of past cadets, the three strands of unchanging love(Hosea 11:4) The grade was marked with blood-red color yarn twisted several times. From now on, we will be the Soul Winners who believe in the blood of Jesus' cross, the red rope that can save those who are drowning in the water and throw the lifeline across the water (Matthew 14:29-31). The deep meaning is hidden.

We often sing the following chorus.

'There is power, power, wonder-working power,

in the blood of the Lamb.

here is power, power, wonder-working power,

in the precious blood of the Lamb.

Whenever this chorus is sung, creativity and supper vision work in the souls of the soldiers. Dream, which you understand well, is important because it is static while Vision is dynamic.
