이스라엘은 예수님을 믿지 않습니다.

우리말 성경:

우리가 들은 이 소식을 누가 곧이 믿겠느냐? 여호와께서 그분의 팔을 누구에게 드러내셨느냐?

Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?

(Isaiah 53:1)

9 그분이 말씀하셨다. “너는 가서 이 백성에게 말하여라. ‘듣기는 들어도 너희는 깨닫지 못할 것이다. 보기는 보아도 너희는 알지 못할 것이다.’

10 이 백성들의 마음을 둔하게 하고 귀를 어둡게 하고 눈을 감기게 하여라. 그들이 눈으로 보고 귀로 듣고 마음으로 깨닫고 돌아와 치료를 받을까 걱정이다.”

9 And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.

10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.

37 예수께서 이 모든 표적을 그들 앞에서 행하셨음에도 불구하고 그들은 여전히 예수를 믿지 않았습니다.

38 이것은 예언자 이사야의 말을 이루려는 것입니다. “주여, 우리의 전한 것을 누가 믿었으며 주의 팔이 누구에게 나타났습니까?” 사53:1

39 그들이 믿을 수 없었던 까닭을 이사야가 다시 이렇게 말했습니다.

40 “주께서 그들의 눈을 멀게 하셨고 그들의 마음을 무디게 하셨으니 이는 그들이 눈이 있어도 보지 못하게 하고 마음으로 깨달아 돌이키지 못하게 해 내게 고침을 받지 못하게 하기 위함이다.” 사6:10

41 이사야가 이렇게 말한 것은 그가 예수의 영광을 보았기 때문입니다. 그래서 예수를 가리켜 이런 예언을 했습니다.

37 But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:

38 That the saying of Esaias the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Lord, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?

39 Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,

40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

41 These things said Esaias, when he saw his glory, and spake of him.

13 내가 비유로 가르치는 이유는 그들이 보아도 보지 못하고 들어도 듣지 못하며 깨닫지 못하기 때문이다.

14 이사야의 예언이 그들에게 이루어지는 것이다. ‘너희가 듣기는 들어도 깨닫지 못하며 보기는 보아도 깨닫지 못할 것이다.

15 이 백성들의 마음이 굳어져서 귀는 듣지 못하고 눈은 감겨 있다. 이것은 그들로 하여금 눈으로 보지 못하게 하고 귀로 듣지 못하게 하고 마음으로 깨닫지 못하게 하고 돌아서지 못하게 해 내가 그들을 고쳐 주지 않으려는 것이다.’(Isaiah 6:9-10)

13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:

15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

묵상:

1. 이스라엘이 예수님을 메시아로 받아들이지 않는 이유는 무엇입니까?

2. 내 마음이 어떤 식으로 하나님께 완악한가?

명상:

하나님은 계속해서 이스라엘에게 손을 내밀었지만 계속해서 거절했다(Romans 10:21). 그들의 모든 경전, 예언, 관습과 절기, 그리고 메시아에 대한 그들의 기대에도 불구하고 그들은 여전히 그분을 거부했다는 것을 믿기 어렵습니다. 그러나 이마저도 예언된 것이었다.

기도:

주님, 제가 성경을 읽을 때 주님의 말씀을 이해할 수 있도록 도와주소서. 아멘.
